Behaviour Principles
Growing, achieving and flourishing together in mind, body and spirit.
Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all members of the school community to share in this commitment. Everyone at St George’s wants the school to be a happy, successful and safe place to learn.
Everyone is expected to maintain the highest standards of personal conduct, to accept responsibility for their behaviour and encourage others to do the same.
In our Christian environment it is important that an attitude of compassion, love and forgiveness is evident throughout the school. At St George's C of E School learning about appropriate behaviour, including understanding right and wrong, is based on Christian teaching. Pupils and staff speak of conflict & disagreement being dealt with fairly and compassionately based on Christian principles of forgiveness and a fresh start.
